I am a public health policy and health economics professional by training, with experience working in metropolitan planning and government organizations, writing community health assessments and health improvement plans, and developing community mental health interventions. My primary research interests are (in)efficient spending on health in the United States and studying the effects of urban planning and transportation on health outcomes.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics from Grinnell College and I earned my Master of Public Health in Policy from the University of Iowa College of Public Health, Department of Health Management and Policy.
I currently work at Epic as a software quality manager in the population health division, also leading the division's Population Health Industry Knowledge Initiative.
